Dermot O’Shea was living in the Taiwanese capital of Taipei when he co-founded Taoglas 20 years ago. Today, he lives in San Diego, having relocated to the US to drive the company’s push across North America. In between, he has traversed the world multiple times, opening factories, acquiring companies, closing deals. Taoglas, a low-key maker of telecoms antenna technology, has eight offices across North America, Asia and Ireland, and services 20,000 customers in more than 100 countries.
