Drone firm A-TechSYN has been quietly building cutting-edge drones in Shannon after it moved its HQ to the West of Ireland from Turkey several years ago. The company builds heavy-duty drones for use in research and defence, rather than the commercial-focused delivery drones trying to capture consumers. A-TechSYN is more of a behind-the-scenes company.
