Five years after selling their company to Stripe, the founders of Touchtech Payments have been quietly raising funds for their new venture. Shekinah Adewumi and Niall Hogan’s last start-up Touchtech Payments was acquired by the Collisons’ payments giant in 2019, for a reported €9 million, and was merged into Stripe’s engineering base in Dublin as part of its payment authentication operations. After the acquisition, the duo worked for Stripe in product and business development roles before striking out again with Apata.
