Conor McCarthy, the aviation entrepreneur and founder of Emerald Airlines, has warned that the cap on passengers at Dublin Airport could impact flights between Dublin and Donegal. McCarthy told The Currency that Emerald Airlines, the operator of Aer Lingus Regional services, currently operates 28 flights per week between Dublin and Donegal but that the airline was being forced to review this by restrictions. Emerald Air is committed to these flights until the end of its contract in February 2025.
