The Department of Defence has dished out €7.9 million on contracts with weapons and defence companies which are also providing arms and other military equipment to the Israeli Defence Forces, newly released data shows. New purchase order data for 2024 released by the department shows that it deals directly with some of the world’s biggest weapons producers and defence contractors. This includes Leonardo SPA, Honeywell International, Northrop Grumman, Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace, and Thales Group.
