The numbers tell their own story.  Suir Engineering had revenues of €61.7 million for the seven months ending October 2016, making a pre-tax profit of €1.3 million.  In the previous 15 months, it had a turnover of €95.5 million but lost €12.7 million after being hit with €15.2 million in exceptional costs.
