The numbers tell their own story. Suir Engineering had revenues of €61.7 million for the seven months ending October 2016, making a pre-tax profit of €1.3 million. In the previous 15 months, it had a turnover of €95.5 million but lost €12.7 million after being hit with €15.2 million in exceptional costs. The company recorded a turnover of €429 million last year, up 41 per cent on 2022, and posted a pre-tax profit of €12.1 million.
