When energy firm Aquila European Renewables revealed plans to wind up its business in September, it dealt another blow to Euronext Dublin, the Irish stock exchange. Aquila was the only company to list on Euronext Dublin in 2023 and its shuttering adds to a slew of departures, for one reason or another, of large firms from the Irish bourse.
