Caseway AI, a Canadian-founded AI start-up that has relocated to Ireland, has been hit with a copyright lawsuit back home. Caseway, which is building a chatbot AI for legal research, is facing a lawsuit by a Canadian non-profit that claims it has wrongfully accessed and used its data. The Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII) filed its complaint against the Irish-registered company in a court in British Columbia last week.
