An Bord Pleanála has turned down an appeal by the owners of the Holiday Inn Hotel in Swords to keep using its 248-space car park for holidaygoers. The decision comes as parking pressure at Dublin Airport mounts. The Holiday Inn Hotel, which opened in 2021, is just 3.5 kilometres from the airport. It is owned by Carra Shore Hotel (Dublin) Limited, part of the JMK Group of hospitality and property companies controlled by the Kajani family in the UK and Ireland.
