The news that Ireland’s national start-up accelerator – the NDRC – is to cease trading next year has shocked and disappointed founders, investors and others in the Irish start-up ecosystem. As well as the extensive media coverage, the news sparked a “LinkedIn takeover” as entrepreneurs and investors posted countless messages in support of the accelerator and the other initiatives being operated out of Dogpatch Labs.
