Business at Tinakilly House is going “off a cliff” as a result of a well-publicised and allegedly “vexatious” dispute between the co-owners of the Co Wicklow Hotel, it has been claimed in the Commercial Court. Lay litigant Denis Connolly, defending an action brought by co-investor Gerard Lane, told a court hearing that the hotel has 120 weddings booked for next year but that the whole business is “suffering greatly” because of the legal proceedings and surrounding publicity.
