Over 30 years ago, Bob Etchingham and Joe Barrett set up a service station in Ballyfermot in west Dublin. That station was the first iteration of Applegreen, a brand that would go on to become one of Ireland’s largest forecourt operators and establish significant businesses in both the UK and the US.
