Kieran Furlong, the Wexford-born co-founder of Realta Fusion, had heard about Titletown Tech (TTT), one of the highest-profile venture capital firms in Wisconsin. Backed by Microsoft and the Green Bay Packers, the American football team, the firm closed its second fund of $70 million (€66.5 million) in July 2023, taking the total it had raised to $95 million. Furlong, who lives in Wisconsin where Realta Fusion is based, met Craig Dickman at an event last year hosted by John Byrnes, the chairman of the 5 Lakes Institute, a technology collaboration network in the Great Lakes region in the United States. …
