It was once the home of Ireland’s first president Douglas Hyde. More recently, it was acquired by Michael Flatley, the one-time Riverdance star who later launched Lord of the Dance.  Now, lenders have moved to take control of Castlehyde, the Co Cork mansion, from the Irish-American dancer.  Novellus, a Dublin-based property and bridging finance lender, is seeking to install Kieran Wallace and Andrew O’Leary of the accountancy firm Interpath Advisory as joint receivers over the property, which sits on a 150-acre estate near Fermoy.   Flatley, however, is attempting to thwart the appointment and is asking the High Court to block…
