The board of the group of investors who own the famous Queens pub in the coastal village of Dalkey have voted to close the business ahead of its sale. The pub was put on the market for €3.95 million last year after it secured planning permission to add a 30-bedroom guesthouse at the back of the venue.  A number of parties have expressed an interest in buying the pub and an adjoining car park, which now has planning permission to be developed.
