Several companies connected to Quintain Developments Ireland have launched a judicial review challenge to overturn the inclusion of land at its major Cherrywood development in the controversial residential zoned land tax net. Quintain has secured planning permission for parcels of land within the 890-acre Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone (SDZ), the largest undeveloped land bank in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. The company’s Cherrywood lands have the development potential for 3,000 residential units and 27 acres of parkland. Commencement notices to start work on several blocks of the site were filed last December and works on the ambitious project are set to be completed…
