Liquidators have been appointed to the Irish arm of embattled US tech company Digital River. Digital River, founded in 1994, provides e-commerce, payments, and marketing services but has been in gradual decline since last year with its chief executive informing employees in the US this week that they were being laid off and the company is closing down. That shuttering now extends to Ireland.
