The consolidation of Irish veterinary practices is rolling on with IVC Evidensia on the verge of acquiring three more sites. The British group, which is owned by Swedish private-equity giant EQT, alerted the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission this Friday of its intention to buy Old Church Veterinary Hospital, a veterinary business active in Co Sligo and Co Donegal. According to documents lodged with the CCPC, Old Church Veterinary Hospital has sites in Ballyshannon, Co Donegal; Donegal Town; and Grange, Co Sligo.
