The Belfast-based livestock nutrition group Devenish has launched High Court proceedings against its former chief executive Richard Kennedy and the company operating his family’s farm. Solicitors representing Devenish Nutrition at Lavelle Partners issued a plenary summons against Kennedy and Aclare4 Farms Limited on Friday, High Court records show. Aclare4 Farms is a company owned by Kennedy’s sons Rian and Oisin, located at the family’s business address on the border between Co Sligo and Co Mayo. Richard Kennedy left Devenish in October 2022.
