A deal to buy the Tynagh mining site in Galway has collapsed with the London-listed buyer pulling out of the acquisition. Europa Metals announced plans to acquire the owner of the site, Viridian Metals Ireland Limited, last September but talks over the last several months have failed to bear any fruit. Viridian Metals is the owner of the Tynagh mining site in Galway. Europa intended to buy the company and the site and revive mineral exploration there for metals like zinc, lead and silver.
