Riverdance star Michael Flatley has cleared around €850,000 in arrears on a €5.7 million loan facility secured against his Co Cork mansion, Castlehyde, the High Court has been told. The entertainer is in court this week fighting to extend an injunction stopping receivers, appointed by alternative lender Novellus, from taking control of his estate near Fermoy. Novellus has a registered charge against his company, Blackbird Film Productions, the UK-registered vehicle with an address on London’s Oxford Street, used for Flatley’s 2018 spy-thriller flop Blackbird.
