First Citizen Finance, the Dublin-based alternative lender, is being sold to European private credit and real estate investment platform Arrow Global. The business has a book made up of motor finance, agri-finance and commercial retail lending. It was founded in 2012 by former Permanent TSB banker Chris Hanlon. The business made an €11.7 million loss in 2023, and is thought to have a book in the range of about €500 million.
