Amid claims of bullying and “dark forces” at work, the marathon trial over the future ownership of the Barne Estate stands adjourned, generally. The Commercial Court clash brought by bloodstock billionaire John Magnier was supposed to start on Thursday but was scuppered as a result of “incomplete and grossly inadequate” discovery on the part of the defendants, to use the words of Justice Michael Quinn in summing up the issue.
