The High Court has overturned a decision by the Labour Court in relation to the award of compensation to former workers of the collapsed department store Debenhams. The liquidators of the chain, accountants Kieran Wallace and Andrew O’Leary of Interpath Advisory, appealed the decision by the Labour Court last year in relation to a test case taken by a former worker at the chain.
