Barry McGrath, a former partner and head of funds at the law firm Maples, resigned as chair of wealth manager Argeau ahead of its rebranding as Fordel. McGrath was part-time chairman of Argeau since it was founded in January 2020. Argeau rebranded earlier this year Fordel after the business raised €3.5 million from Anne Heraty, the former chief executive of recruitment firm CPL, developer Sean Mulryan, Dan Kiely, the co-founder of Voxpro, and others.
