The dramatic story of HR company rivalry continued in the High Court today when Keith O’Brien, accused of corporate espionage, appeared before Mr Justice Mark Sanfey in the commercial court to tell the court that he had destroyed the phone at the centre of the case. O’Brien was hired by US human resources services giant Rippling, valued at $13 billion, as a global payroll compliance manager in July 2023.
