Eamon Waters has withdrawn his appeal with An Bord Pleanála through which he was seeking to overturn Dublin City Council’s decision to refuse plans for a hotel in the heart of Dublin 2. In August, one of his property vehicles, Peachbeach Unlimited, applied to replace the building at 15-16 Baggot Street Lower with a six-storey hotel and apartment complex. Peachbeach is one of the dozens of unlimited companies within the Sretaw network of companies ultimately owned by Waters, who bought the property for an estimated €12 million.
