Daire Hickey was “lining his own pockets” at the expense of Web Summit and earning in excess of €300,000 external to his employment at the tech event company, the High Court has heard. Lawyers for Paddy Cosgrave claim the minority stakeholder and 150 Bond founder was effectively removed from his job and directorship at Web Summit due to serious and consistent breaches of his fiduciary duties and is now trying to turn his “own unbridled greed and duplicitous deeds” into a case of shareholder oppression.
