Irish insulation provider Kingspan has been omitted from a series of legal actions taken by a London borough council against some of the contractors involved in the refurbishment of Grenfell Tower. The Cavan-based company, valued at around €12.5 billion, was heavily criticised in a long-running public inquiry into the blaze at the tower that claimed the lives of 72 people in 2017 – but was found not to be directly responsible.
