A “sophisticated” cannabis cultivation operation has been discovered at business premises in Oldcastle, Co Meath as part of Operation Tara pursuing drug trafficking networks. A spokesman for An Garda Síochána said it had conducted a “planned search” of the property on Monday morning. “During the search, a sophisticated cannabis cultivation operation was discovered,” he said. “Gardaí seized cannabis plants at various stages of growth, with an estimated street value of approximately €550,000, a variety of cultivation equipment, drugs paraphernalia and a number of electronic devices.” Three men aged in their 40s, 30s and late teens were arrested at the scene and…
