Icon PLC, the Irish clinical trials firm, is facing fresh legal action in the US from shareholders. Police and Fire Retirement System of the City of Detroit, a pension fund for police and fire retirees in the Michigan city, filed a suit against the Irish company earlier this month. In a complaint lodged in a court in New York, the organisation claims Icon has misled investors on the performance of its business.
