Details of project delays, contractor disputes, and the board’s deep concerns with the Arts Council’s ultimately failed €6.5 million IT project raised at board meetings since 2021 were redacted in public minutes, an analysis from The Currency can reveal.  In December 2018, the Department of Arts signed off on a budget of €2.87 million for the two-and-a-half-year project to update the council’s IT system.
