A catering company, acquired for around €55 million in 2023, has been accused of overcharging for school lunches in proceedings before the Commercial Court. Glanmore Foods Ltd supplies school lunches to around 450 primary and secondary Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools (DEIS) schools across Ireland. In July 2023, the company was acquired by Compass Catering Services Ireland Ltd from its previous owner, Naas-based CNB Investments Ltd, a company owned by a couple, John and Jennifer Mooney.
