In June 2023, EasyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou established a company in Ireland specifically to pursue what he viewed as intellectual property infringement. Easygroup IP Ireland Ltd was incorporated as an IP leasing subsidiary of UK parent Easygroup.
