Galway’s 360° Underwriting, which specialises in construction insurance, is being acquired by US firm Ryan Specialty. 360° Underwriting, or simply 360, was set up in 2017 in Loughrea, Co Galway with an office in Dublin. It is led by joint managing directors Paul Sherry and Tommy Byrne who were both underwriters at Liberty Insurance before starting their own firm. The deal will see 360 absorbed into Ryan Specialty’s Underwriting Managers division.
