An exclusive exhibition takes place this July at Weir & Sons, Dublin, presenting extraordinary new watch models by Patek Philippe to the discerning customer.
From the 21st to the 26th of July 2025, visitors to the Weir & Sons flagship store on Grafton Street are invited to discover a curated selection of the latest timepieces by Patek Philippe. Those with a passion for horology can experience the latest innovations by this world-class watch manufacturer — many of which were unveiled for the first time at April’s Watches and Wonders event in Geneva, Switzerland.
This exclusive exhibition will be held at the newly unveiled Patek Philippe showroom on the first floor of the Weir & Sons store on Dublin’s premier shopping street, Grafton Street.
Designed with elegance and discretion in mind, the new showroom features a luxurious lounge area as well as an intimate VIP room in an exclusive setting that reflects Patek Philippe’s values of excellence, precision and attention to detail. Featuring carefully chosen colours, patterns and furnishings that echo the Patek Philippe aesthetic, the new showroom is designed to elevate the experience of new customers and seasoned collectors alike.
“Our new Patek Philippe showroom combines unparalleled elegance with timeless luxury at Weir & Sons. Customers are able to peruse the collections in a relaxed environment while the expansive windows which look out over Dublin’s iconic Grafton Street allow natural light to highlight these extraordinary timepieces,” says Lucinda Andrews, marketing director at Weir & Sons and great-granddaughter of founder Thomas Weir.
“The space is incredibly versatile with different levels of privacy. Depending very much on the shopping style of our customer we can cater to every need. We are really proud of the new Patek Philippe showroom which allows customers to discover the timepieces with our expert staff on hand in a luxurious setting.”
It is perhaps no surprise that Weir & Sons have forged such an enduring relationship with Patek Philippe — producers of some of the world’s most extraordinary watches. Dedicated to excellence and the celebration of life’s key moments since 1869, Weir & Sons is a family business which marries tradition and innovation beautifully. With fourth and fifth generation family members at the helm of the business, the values of Ireland’s most iconic luxury watch and jewellery retailer are perfectly aligned with the values of Patek Philippe.
Likewise, a passion for excellence has remained key for the four generations of the Stern family presiding over Patek Philippe since 1932. The fifth generation of owners will, like the younger members of the Andrews family, have the same mission as their predecessors — to guarantee the brand’s continuity over the long term, its independence and its outstanding creative potential.
“It is a lovely synergy that Patek Philippe and Weir & Sons are both family businesses and family-run,” says Lucinda Andrews. “When running a generational family business, preserving the legacy and DNA of that business is a huge responsibility as well as an honour. At the same time, there is also a responsibility to evolve the business and to remain current. These are values we share.
“At Weirs & Sons, we have worked with Patek Philippe for over 100 years, and we very much look forward to maintaining that relationship for the next 100 years and more. Patek Philippe are part of our DNA.”

Following in the tradition of the Patek Philippe founders, Antoine Norbert de Patek and Jean Adrien Philippe, the brand remains devoted to designing and crafting the finest watches in the world in terms of both technique and aesthetic. Thanks to upcoming events at Weir & Sons, visitors will have the opportunity to view the most innovative models in the Patek Philippe collection and to see first-hand the extraordinary heritage and precise workmanship that goes into every Patek Philippe watch.
“Patek Philippe are always a highlight at Watches and Wonders, Geneva, however this is the first time that the latest collection will be seen in Ireland,” says Andrews. “It is a very rare opportunity to see these pieces under one roof. Our events offer a unique opportunity to see and experience these new innovations and iconic masterpieces of craftsmanship. Some pieces we might not ever stock, or, even if we do, they may never be displayed on the shop floor due to their rarity.”
July’s showcase of these exceptional watches at Weir & Sons will highlight Patek Philippe’s continued commitment to innovation and craftsmanship across its diverse collection.

This year, the spotlight is on the Calatrava 8 Day Reference 5328G-001, equipped with instantaneous displays of the day (by an aperture) and the date (by a hand) at six o’clock and a large power reserve of eight days, indicated at 12 o’clock. The new calibre 31-505 8J PS IRM CI J manually wound movement unites a classic architecture with several technical innovations, including a Pulsomax® escapement in Silinvar®.
The two barrels connected in series guarantee that the watch will function with perfect precision for eight full days, with a ninth day in reserve. Characterised by its contemporary aesthetic, this timepiece comes in a white-gold case, its caseband adorned with the Clous de Paris or hobnail guilloché motif, framing a blue dial presenting its displays in a modern, original style on a vertical axis.

Another flagship model on display in Dublin, the split-seconds chronograph Reference 5370, brings out its first version in rose gold, harmonising with a dial in brown Grand Feu enamel and subsidiary dials and a tachymeter scale in beige champlevé enamel.
The calibre CHR 29-535 PS combines its traditional architecture (manually wound, column wheel, toothed-wheel horizontal clutch) with seven patented innovations, including one for the reworked split-seconds mechanism.
This new Split-Seconds Chronograph Reference 5370R-001 is worn on an alligator-leather strap in shiny dark chestnut brown, endowed with a new patented three-prong fold-over clasp introduced this year on several models in the collection.

The perpetual calendar with retrograde date hand features among Patek Philippe’s most sought-after models. The manufacturer has now reinterpreted this emblematic Grand Complication in a new version in white gold with an original modern style, its sapphire crystal dial with gray metallisation offering a veiled glimpse of the watch’s internal workings. The bezel is adorned with the famous Clous de Paris or hobnail guilloché motif — one of the most beautiful symbols of the Patek Philippe style. Within the Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Reference 6159G-001 is the calibre 26-330 S QR self-winding movement.
Those who prefer an elegant, sporty look are certain to be drawn to the Cubitus — an innovative design first launched last October and available at Weir & Sons. This watch offers a new medium size of 40mm in diameter and is available in two versions. Firstly, the Cubitus Reference 7128/1G-001 in white gold with a blue-gray sunburst dial, and secondly, the Cubitus Reference 7128/1R-001 in rose gold with a brown sunburst dial.
The bold, unique geometry of the case — a square with rounded corners and an elegant profile — is emphasised by the interplay of satin-brushed and polished finishes. The calibre 26-330 S C self-winding movement, equipped with a stop-seconds function, has a central rotor in 21K gold adorned with the same horizontal relief pattern as the dial. The gold bracelet is fitted with a lockable adjustment system and a patented Patek Philippe fold-over clasp, secured by four independent catches.
Patek Philippe plays on colour with two new versions of the Ladies’ Nautilus with a quartz movement and a case in white gold measuring 32mm in diameter. The dial, adorned with the pattern of waves typical of this collection, is lacquered in an elegant shade of azure blue. The case catches the eye with its alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes, while a row of 46 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.8 ct) illuminates the bezel.
The Ladies’ Nautilus Reference 7010G-013 is distinguished by its strap in a composite material matching the dial and a Nautilus fold-over clasp in white gold, while the Ladies’ Nautilus Reference 7010/1G-013 is worn on a bracelet in white gold fitted with a lockable adjustment system and a Patek Philippe patented fold-over clasp secured by four independent catches.
