The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has initiated High Court proceedings against Flutter Entertainment, the latest case it has taken against Irish bookmakers in recent weeks. Flutter is the parent company of bookmaker Paddy Power and online gambling company Betfair. The watchdog is seeking to compel the company to disclose information in its ongoing investigation into potential breaches of competition law in the Irish betting sector.
