Irish insurer XS Direct believes its algorithms have been used to sell insurance products in the UK in breach of a contract worth up to £2.5 million (€2.9 million), the Commercial Court has heard. The case was fast-tracked into the big business division of the High Court by Justice Seamus Twomey after failed attempts to mediate the dispute.
