The Revenue-appointed liquidator of The Green Hen restaurant has filed disqualification proceedings for reckless trading against the company’s directors, which include well-known restaurateur Frank Gleeson. In an application to have the case fast-tracked into the Commercial division of the High Court on Monday, lawyers for liquidator Myles Kirby of Kirby Healy accountants said orders would also be sought to hold the directors personally liable for the debts of the company, Chequer Catering Ltd, which are more than €1 million.
