The Revenue Commissioners has failed to have its nominee appointed as liquidator over the Killarney Brewing and Distilling company (KBD). The business, which announced to staff last week it would cease production at its two plants with the loss of 50 jobs, was formally wound up by Justice Michael Quinn in the High Court on Monday.
