Cynergy Bank, a UK lender headed up by former Bank of Ireland executive Nick Fahy, is looking to bring in new investment in a deal that would value the business at up to £1 billion (€1.15 billion). The London-based firm, which offers finance and bank accounts to British SME firms, has built out a £4 billion loan book, a figure expected to reach £5 billion by the end of the year.
