Social media platform Bluesky has shifted its Digital Services Act compliance functions to Ireland. Recent updates to Bluesky’s terms of service show that the company has appointed a third-party representative in Ireland to be its point of contact for EU content rules. The Digital Services Act is the EU’s set of rules around online safety and content regulation. Companies without a legal entity in the EU are required to appoint a representative within the bloc to be compliant.
