The US-based construction magnate, Maurice Regan, has received planning permission to expand his stud farm on his large estate at Newtown Anner just outside of Clonmel. Regan owns several properties on the estate in the Golden Vale area of south Tipperary. The land came complete with 80 stables, with Regan investing heavily in the stud farm since buying the land in the early 2000s, making significant investments over the last decade. The latest accounts for Newtown Anner Stud Farm Ltd show that €49 million was put into the company between 2011 and 2022. The stud has had 83 race wins…
