Openvolt, an energy start-up led by Stripe’s former Irish boss, is calling it a day. The company, founded in 2023, has begun the process of a members’ voluntary winding up. It has no debts or creditors; instead, it has made the decision to close the company. The start-up was founded by the former Irish site lead for Stripe, Don O’Leary, who also headed up the fintech giant’s EMEA engineering unit and held roles in the past at Google and Twitter.
