Instrotec, a 25-year-old specialist electrical and instrumentation contractor that supports more than 400 jobs, has been rescued after a scheme of arrangement was approved in the High Court on Thursday. A meeting of creditors held on August 6 in the Grand Canal Hotel in Dublin saw strong support for the multi-faceted plan presented by company examiner, Joe Walsh of JW Walsh Accounts. Westport-headquartered Instrotec works on complex projects such as data centres, semiconductor and pharmaceutical facilities, as well as oil and gas plants in Ireland and Europe.
