On January 21, 2022, Nutriband, the US-based company founded by Ireland’s newest presidential hopeful Gareth Sheridan, held a board meeting. In its resulting filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nutriband announced that directors had elected a new chairman, Serguei Melnik. This was the only indication that another Irish presidential candidate, former Dragon’s Den judge Sean Gallagher, had ended his term as executive chairman of Nutriband after four years.
