Freezing orders blocking builder Patrick ‘Paddy’ Byrne of failed construction firm Victoria Homes Ltd from dissipating €605,000 from the proceeds of a luxury private property sale have been vacated. The High Court heard Byrne, a former director of the construction firm, has reached an agreement with its liquidator that he will lodge the money from the sale of Oldtown Manor in Co Kildare to his solicitor’s account until the dispute is resolved.
