Florida-based Serguei Melnik, the interim CEO who replaced Gareth Sheridan at the helm of their Nutriband medtech company while Sheridan seeks nominations to run in Ireland’s presidential election, has a history of non-compliance with market regulations, records show. As previously reported, he was alleged to be the same person as Serghei Melnik, the 25.5 per cent shareholder in Civil Aviation Group, a company that acquired Air Moldova through privatisation in 2018. A parliamentary inquiry the following year alleged irregularities in the privatisation process. A potential beneficiary of the irregularities was reported to be Russian-owned Chișinău Airport, the airline’s largest creditor.…
