A property used by one of the top recipients of State payments for emergency accommodation for asylum seekers and refugees was shut down and payments stopped after a potential “serious and immediate” fire risk was identified earlier this year. Documents released to The Currency under freedom of information rules show that the property in Co Roscommon was used by Transboil Limited.
