Seven months ago, Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald switched jobs from finance minister to economy minister in Northern Ireland’s Executive. The restoration of Stormont in March 2024 saw her party take over the economy portfolio for the first time since the Good Friday Agreement, through her predecessor Conor Murphy.
